MDI-Group Ethical Guidelines

MDI-Group and its partner offices all around the world have been instructed and pledge to adhere to the following principles, as laid down in the ethichal guidelines of ACA International, the world’s largest trade organization for professionals in the industry:

  • To treat a debtor with consideration and respect.
  • To communicate with a debtor in an honest and integer way.
  • Upon receiving a request from a debtor to further investigate or verify a debt, to temporarily suspend collection activities, and then
  • Conduct a reasonable investigation to verify the debt and the accuracy of the provided information.
  • Not threaten to organize legal action on debts in which debtor has not yet been given a reaonsable time to come up with a payment plan or
  • that are beyond the statute of limitations in the country of the debtor.
  • Not to engage in dishonest, fraudulent or deceitful conduct or misrepresent themselves.
  • Not to harass, threaten or coerce people.
  • Not engage in dishonorable, unethical or unprofessional conduct that may deceive, harm or defraud a debtor.
  • Use reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and availability of debtor information.
